Meeting Tator

Just so you know, tator is the nickname that Michael has given to our unborn child:). Today we went to our first OB appointment, which was very eventful. We got to meet little tator for the first time. We got to see it move and we got to see and hear its little heartbeat, which was 178 beats per minute. Experiencing this moment is one that everyone should get to experience in their lifetime, what a miracle. We are so thankful for all of the prayers during this time, I truly believe that that is what has been keeping me sane. We will have another ultrasound in 3 and a half weeks, so I will have more for you then!

Initial Post

Just wanted to have a common website for all of our family and friends (if they want to) to come a get an update, since life is about to get so crazy for Michael and I. As most of you know, I am in school at Clemson University, and I am about to begin my second complete semester on Thursday. I am very anxious and nervous about this because for the first time in my life I am going to have work, school, or clinicals everyday of the week, which leaves little time for studying or a social life. Michael always stays busy with his job, but I think he will find more free time since he won't have to hang out with me much for the next 3 months:). We have thoroughly enjoyed our holidays this year. We got to got to the Grand Ole Opry with my family, and we spent Christmas morning with Michael's family in Elberton. We also got the greatest Christmas gift of all....we found out we are pregnant!!! We feel very blessed that we got this news, and we are praying that every thing is going to be okay with the pregnancy. I will keep you posted on the news, and I hope that you all will keep us and our little miracle from God in your prayers!
